100% organic Nebbiolo sourced from the Meriame vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba. Naturally fermented and aged in large oak casks for two years, this wine is powerful, muscular and complex. It’s already got eight years of bottle age on it, and its developing nicely.

It’s got a nose of roses, violets, tar, herbs and dark fruits leading into a palate full of dusty, meaty, savory red fruit. The texture of the wine is surprisingly elegant- the interplay of fresh acidity and drying tannin balance each other nicely.

The Viberti estate in La Morra was founded by Osvaldo’s grandparents, and he now farms the 25 acre estate along with his wife Carla and children Anna and Paolo.  Fewer than 3oo cases produced.
