From The Winery: The Monterustico brand is a product of the Vajra vineyard, located in Vergne, the highest village in the Municipality of Barolo. It possesses plots of Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera, planted at around 350 to 400 m above sea level. The freshness brought by the height gives the vines a longer maturation cycle than for other crus from the region, conferring a characteristic style to the wines that come from this region.
