Lewis Cellars Chardonnay ‘17 Napa

The 2017 Chardonnay Napa Valley is cut from the same cloth yet is slightly richer and more opulent. Flower oil, white peach, hazelnuts, and hints of buttered toast all flow to a brilliantly rich, textured, sexy Chardonnay that has nicely integrated acidity and terrific balance. It’s another intense, flavor-packed beauty from this estate.

 

Powerful and refined, with lilting flavors of ripe pear, apple pastry and butterscotch supported by fresh acidity. The long finish is succulent, with marzipan hints. Drink now through 2023.
