This red blend is made from estate vines averaging 50 years old. The vineyards are dry-farmed, without pesticides or herbicides, and hand harvested. Monastrell’s bold fruit is perfectly in balance with the earthy notes of Cabernet and Syrah, producing a blend that shows complexity and balance. Rich in flavor and texture with fresh acidity and finessed tannin structure.
Each varietal is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels separately before blending. Explosive aromas of ripe currant, red berries and smoked notes. Rich, powerful and voluminous on the attack, silken and juicy in the mid-palate with excellent length and persistence. Fine, ripe tannins, at once supple and structurally present.
