Tasting Notes: The aroma of rice and koji spreads the moment you drink it, and it feels dry on first sip. Then a gradual sweetness wraps the tongue softy and slowly disappears. Only slightly sweet with rich aroma and a creamy taste of rice. This sake is uniquely dryer for a Nigori, and light with the dregs.
From The Brewery: Iwamura Brewery was founded in 1787, and only brews Premium Classifications of sake in the world’s pickiest sake country – Japan. Iwamura uses natural mineral water that springs from a four hundred year-old spring deep in the secluded mountainous environment of Gifu Prefecture.
