Our Merlots have received consistently great reviews and critical acclaim. A common thread noted by critics is their apparent age-worthiness, these wines consistently improve with time. We have made Merlot since 2002 and have not yet found an example of one that has “gone over the hill” (we recently tried a 2004 that had aged beautifully).

Frostwatch Merlots retain their fruit while acids and tannins become more integrated, resulting in a wine that is accessible to an even wider variety of wine drinkers.
