Tasting Notes: A prominent wood spice decorates the caramelized licorice and stewed fruit aromas on the nose of this bottling. The palate is loaded with raisin and prune flavors.

From The Winery: El Vaquero is a small, family operated winery based in Corralitos, California; home of our sustainably farmed estate vineyard.  El Vaquero celebrates the heritage of Corralitos and a spirit who watches over the estate vineyard.

The apparition of the cowboy (El Vaquero) has made himself known on several occasions.  Believed to be a shaman who often meditated on the hilltop property overlooking the Monterey Bar in the 1880s.
