Doyard Mahé Premier Cru "Empreinte" Blanc de Blancs NV Vertus - Champagne

This beautiful Champagne from Doyard-Mahé on 100% Chardonnay (Blanc de Blanc) is filled with everything that characterizes a good Blanc de Blanc. Although it is the "base Champagne" of the family, there is generally not much "base" about it!

Champagne Carte d'Or Emfreinte Brut comes from particularly calcareous soils at Vertus, where there are also chalk and fossil deposits that date back to when the Champagne region was at the bottom of the sea. And you can taste it in the wine.

It is a fantastically beautiful and very charming champagne with light golden colour, fine bubbles and creamy mousse.

Discreet and elegant scent of lemon peel, almonds and nuts. Fresh and cleansing on the taste with a gloriously straight minerality, good concentration and at the same time rounded taste of white flowers and white stone fruits - as well as a long and pleasant aftertaste.

A nice Champagne, which with its 9 g of dosed sugar gives it a nice rounding, which makes it well-liked by the majority.
