Tasting Notes: A substantial, medium-bodied wine from a cool, coastal site that gives a lot of concentration without a lot of weight. Moderate butter, toast and baked apple aromas. Subtle roasted almonds, poached pears and vanilla bean on the palate and lingering finish. Good balancing acidity keeps it fresh-tasting.
