From The Winery: Bandol is one of the oldest vineyard in France. The first vine was planted by the Romans 2,500 years ago. Chateau Vannières is recognized among the most prestigious domaines of Bandol. Gaston Boisseaux, from Beaune in Burgundy acquires this property in 1957.

His son Eric Boisseaux continued the perspective and dedication to excellence and is now passing that on to his son Charles Eric.  They transfer into the wines our own vision of curiosity for modern tendencies and new technologies, willingness to maintain the positive stress between tradition and modernity. Their gastronomic taste for pleasing the senses, a living art, an elegance in the attitude and the appearance, the way to enjoy life. These wines can age for 30 years. Farming in the vineyard follows the purest
tradition of the appellation.
