The 2019 Chorus Cuvée Rouge is a field blend of traditional Portuguese varieties planted in St. Helena. These grapes are harvested together, co-fermented, and pressed a little sweet to avoid picking up harsher tannins. Allowed to age for 9 months in upright tanks, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to bring body and texture to the wine. This wine boasts intense red and black fruit characteristics, including strawberry and blackberry, as well as savory cooking herbs, creating a full-bodied style of wine that is elegant, approachable, and vibrant.
Pairs well with: Weekdays. Weekends. Dinner tables. Couches. Duck Confit. Burgers and Fries.
